ΒΙΟ

Η Αλεξάνδρα Κλάδη γεννήθηκε και μεγάλωσε στη Ζάκυνθο. Σπούδασε μουσικολογία στο παν/μιο Αθηνών και ανώτερα θεωρητικά της μουσικής στο ωδείο Φ. Νάκας. Έκανε σπουδές στο τραγούδι και το πιάνο ενώ ασχολήθηκε με διάφορα μουσικά όργανα όπως το όμποε, το ακορντεόν, το μαντολίνο και την κιθάρα.

Αυτό που την κέρδισε όμως ήταν η σύνθεση και έτσι συνέχισε τις σπουδές της στη σύνθεση σύγχρονης μουσικής και τη μουσική για κινηματογράφο. Στα τραγούδια της είναι έντονες οι επιρροές από την κλασική, την τζαζ, την ηλεκτρονική και την ποπ μουσική, ενώ στιχουργικά φλερτάρει με την απλότητα και την αμεσότητα.

Διδάσκει θεωρητικά της μουσικής, συγγράφει εκπαιδευτικά βιβλία μουσικής, παιδικά μουσικά παραμύθια, συνθέτει παιδικά μιούζικαλ ενώ παράλληλα γράφει μουσική για το θέατρο και τον κινηματογράφο. Το 2021 ξεκίνησε μια σειρά από εκπαιδευτικά βίντεο μουσικής στο Youtube με τίτλο “Μουσική με την Αλεξάνδρα”. Οι μέρες της μοιράζονται ανάμεσα στη διδασκαλία, τη δημιουργία, τις ηχογραφήσεις και το performing.

Alexandra Kladi was born and raised in Zakynthos. She studied musicology at National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and advanced music theory at Philippos Nakas Conservatory. She also studied classical singing and piano and she experimented with various musical instruments, such as the oboe, the accordion, the mandolin, and the guitar.

Her interest in musical composition and songwriting resulted in continuing her studies in contemporary composition and film scoring. Her songs are strongly influenced by traditional, electronic, classical, jazz and pop music, her lyrics are characterized by simplicity and immediacy and her vocal performance is ingenuous, aimed at expressing the essence of straightforwardness and authenticity of her songs.

Alexandra’s intense and multi-faceted creativity is not limited to song-writing; she currently lives and works in Athens as a music teacher, writes educational and children's books, composes children's musicals and music for theatre and films. In 2021 she created “Music with Alexandra”, an ongoing educational video series on Youtube. She spends her time among teaching, composing, recording and performing, as well as all of her wide interests; from yoga to mathematics, she is a life-long learner and polymath.
